How much time in advance do I need to book my cake?

We like to have about 6 months notice to book a custom wedding cake and 2-3 weeks for specialty cakes. We can provide rush orders, if we have the date open.

If I want an over-the-top design, can you create it?

Sure, no problem! We can sit down with you and draw up some sketches to create your dream wedding cake.

Do you ship cakes?

No, we currently do not ship our cakes. We provide wedding cake rentals to Maryland and some of the surrounding states.

Do you deliver?

Yes, delivery is free with 100 or more servings within 20 miles of Aberdeen, MD, with additional fees there after, and we deliver to Maryland, D.C., and Virginia.We will deliver further just call and ask!

 Can I have fresh flowers added to my cake?

Yes, you can have fresh flowers on your cake if you wish. you arrange the order with your florist, and we will arrange them on the cake. We also offer beautiful edible sugar flowers to adorn your cakes!

Is a deposit required when placing an order?

Yes, to secure the event date, Sweet Eats Cakes LLC will decline other cake rentals. The date of the event is considered “booked” upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit equal to 30% of the total— including value of the cake, delivery charges, and equipment rentals.

What is your refund/cancellation policy?

If the client cancels the order for any reason, save the death of client or of an immediate family member (parent, sibling, grandparent, children), these conditions apply:

 1          Cancellations up to sixty (60) days in advance of your reception date, will receive a refund all of payments less the non-refundable retainer.

2          Cancellations between 60 and 14 days in advance will receive a 50% refund of all monies paid less the non-refundable retainer.

3          Cancellations after final payment, 14 days before your reception, forfeit all monies paid.
